Product Name: Marigold Oleoresin
Marigold Oleoresin is obtained from the flowers of the marigold plant, Tagetes patula Linne.
Main composion: It mainly consists of lutein and lutein ester.
Properties:
Appearance: Dark brown liquid or solid.
Hue: Orange yellow.
Solubility: Easily dissolves in hexane and other fat solvents, but not in water.
Stability: The pigment’s resistance to heat is good but to light is bad.
Technological Process: Raw Material → ferment → baking → making pellet →Extraction → Concentration in Vacuum → Removing solvent → Product
Application/Use rate: The material for manufacturing lutein and lutein ester food and feed grade.
