There are two applications of metal passivation agents in the refining industry.
(1) A catalytic substance used to inhibit the oxidation of active metal ions (copper, iron, nickel, manganese, etc.) to oil. Often combined with antioxidants used in gasoline, jet fuel, diesel and other light fuels, can improve the stability of oil, extend the storage period. Commonly used such as N,n '-two sub-water Yankee Ethylenediamine.
(2) in heavy oil catalytic cracking, used to inhibit the oil containing heavy metals (nickel, vanadium, copper, etc.) on the activity of the catalyst substances, commonly used as antimony compounds.
Main applications:
YT-107 single metal passivation agent is used to reduce the harm caused by the pollution of nickel in the catalyst and to increase the gasoline production.
YT-108 bimetallic Composite passivation agent is used to reduce the harm caused by the pollution of nickel and vanadium in the catalyst, and to increase the gasoline yield.
