Ascorbic acid is a classic ingredient in cosmetic industry, but because it has the instability and intensive irritation, so the use of ascorbic acid is restricted. Nearly decade, a lot of research institutes and cosmetic ingredient corporations have actively developed all kinds of ascorbic derivatives. Thereinto, water soluble ascorbic acid derivatives include: sodium ascorbyl phosphate, magnesium ascorbyl phosphate, ascorbyl glucoside, etc. Oil soluble ascorbic acid derivatives include: ascorbyl palmitate, ascorbyl stearate, etc.  But the use condition of all of these derivatives is rigorous, and the stability is poor.  So the use of these derivatives is very rigidly restricted,  at the same time, the pH value of above all water soluble derivatives used is near neutral in order to keep the stability of ascorbic acid derivatives.
